Hey Hey Hey – just a quick update. Gettin’ very excited about the next release, half a dozen tracks very near finished, sounding much to my liking

Also – coming very soon: a new video; not the one for “New Seven” that I’ve been working on but by a director who goes by the name of “La Alta”. Can’t wait!

I’m sure I have a couple more – I hope?! But apparently not too many fans come to this site either…well if you do like the tunes and you get the unction, please stop on by to the fb site and tell the world. Here’s the link.

Meanwhile, still pretty busy with the follow-up business of the latest jazz trio cd (”There You Are”) – and getting ready for a major relocation, so not a lot going on on this front. However, I’ve helped produce a few short films (horror) with some middle school kids I work with, and of course added some music to it – under the Seven Octaves name. Surprise!! The old blog is gone with the cold long island wind! I’m going to look it over later to see if anything warrants re-posting. This is so I can more efficiently add media here and an rss feed elsewhere, and now you can leave comments should you want or need to.

Also – I’ve added a new “Stuff” page to the SO site which has all sorts of nonsense like links to the new facebook page, videos to a few tracks, links to reviews etc… A place for fans to completely and frivolously waste their free time.

In the slightly artistic column – I’ve been doing some extensive work on what will probably be the opening track on the next release. The tune is called “Hot Potato” – it’s pretty uptempo and pretty elaborate (24 audio tracks so far).  Still have it in the plans to release the next jazz trio cd first so the new SO cd will probably be very late 2009 or early 2010.
